Erika Bibian, LCSW, PEL, MSW
Hi, my name is Erika! I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Professional Educator License. I have experience working in both the foster care and school setting. For the past 6 years, I have been serving as a school social worker. I have worked closely with adolescents and adults with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss, intergenerational trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, school avoidance, stress management and more.
I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for you at any stage of your therapeutic journey, whether it’s your first time seeking support or you’ve had prior experience. I see my clients as the experts in their lives, with me as a guide to your own self-discovery. Along with building trusting relationships with my clients, I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI).
As a proud Mexican, I am passionate about de-stigmatizing mental health and helping you in your journey of self-growth. I hope to empower all my clients in achieving their personal goals inside and outside of my office. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dog Canela, reading books, spending time outdoors, and watching TV shows on Netflix.
