Hi, I’m Dara Karlov! I am a highly experienced and compassionate healthcare professional with over 30 years of experience in nursing. I have worked in both Family Practice and Psychiatric Advanced Nursing and have dedicated my career to improving the well-being of individuals and families by providing comprehensive, holistic care for patients of all ages—from children to adults.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed the evolving challenges within healthcare, particularly in the area of mental health. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to advocating for improved mental health care and ensuring that individuals receive the support and treatment they need to enhance their overall well-being.
As a double board-certified practitioner in both primary care and psychiatric care, I bring a unique perspective to patient treatment. My background allows me to approach care holistically by considering the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of a person’s health.
I believe that every individual deserves to feel heard, validated, and respected in their healthcare journey. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns. I am passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and working collaboratively with patients to support their path toward improved health and wellness.

When working with me, patients can expect more than standard psychiatric services. My goal is to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care grounded in experience, empathy, and genuine compassion. Together, we will work as a team to support your journey toward improved health, balance, and overall well-being.
