Kamryn Kletzke

LSW, PEL, MSW

Hi! My name is Kamryn Kletzke and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Clinical Community and Behavioral Health from Western Kentucky University in 2022, and my Master of Social Work from Aurora University in 2024. I also hold a Public Educator’s License.

For the past two years, I have worked in a therapeutic day school setting, supporting children with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. My work focuses on helping young clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate challenges both in and outside of school.

I take a warm, relational approach to therapy and strive to create an open, welcoming environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence, and developing resilience. My goal is to support children and their families as they work toward healthier coping skills, stronger relationships, and long-term emotional growth.

Specialties & Therapeutic Approach

I work with children ages 5–14 and support clients who may be experiencing:

  • Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Social anxiety and generalized anxiety

  • School-related concerns and school adjustment challenges

  • Stress management

  • LGBTQIA+ identity development

  • Attention, emotional regulation, and behavioral concerns

  • Life transitions and adjustment challenges

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Somatic therapy

  • Play therapy

  • Family systems approaches

My therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approaches, including:

Each session is tailored to meet the child’s developmental, emotional, and individual needs. Whether a child is navigating anxiety, recovering from trauma, experiencing behavioral challenges, or adjusting to a difficult transition, I work to provide tools and support that promote healing and resilience.

With my background in school social work, I strongly believe that therapy is most effective when parents and caregivers are involved in the process. I often encourage collaboration with families to strengthen communication, build secure attachments, and support continued growth outside of the therapy room.
